4.2 Options

The following list of options is presented in the order of likelihood of usage.

-t TRIALS

Set number of random trials to do (default 50000).

-s SEED

Set seed (an integer) to be used by the random-number generator. If not given, the seed is created using the system time and the process-ID number, so that repeated uses of 'epc' give differing results.

-d

Display debugging information, e.g. the expressions that are being evaluated. (Only the author is likely to use this option.)

-h

Print a short help message and exit

-l

Print license information, then exit.

-v

Display verbose information about the distribution of calculated results.

-V

Print version number, then exit.
